I love the concept of Fairphone especially the idea that you can repair it yourself and swap parts as needed. I am a longtime iPhone user that changes phones every 4-6 years. Was considering on switching to Fairphone as the next choice, since android is kind of growing on me. However, the only thing holding me back is the lack of hardware choice or better said, over the top hardware. I know Snapdragon Gen7s 3rd is decent, but would love it if there was a chance to get some more powerful hardware, even at higher costs. Is it under consideration to offer such devices in the future?
Regards,
In short: in my eyes its 0%…high end hardware will hardly ever be FPs focus.

How much extra would you pay for it??
A shame on my own opinion but yeah. Thanks for your feedback.
Up to a 1000 ~ 1200 EUR. I tend to use my phone for quite a long time so the price is justifiable for me.
It could be for less than 1000, I guess? I hope you’ll take good care of your phone as you’re spending good money on it. If you keep your data on cloud apps, i recommend downloading this file manager. It lets you store your data in multiple cloud platforms within the app.
I don’t know if it is still true. But it definitely is or was a thing that Qualcomm reserves all the top tier SOC chips for the big manufacturers. So it’s basically down to how many phones you can sell.
