Hi everyone I’m Arthur, from France, currently living in Utrecht (Netherlands) and goldsmithing as my work.
I like food a lot ^^ we have the chance to have a garden plus an allotment to grow our own veggies and fruit, though it is not enough to sustain us, it is a small part and it brings so much joy to produce your own food.
Besides food and gardening I love to dance, and since I repurposed my old laptop with linux, I am looking at ways to keep our electronics as long as possible and/or slowly mooving out from big tech.
I recently got a FP3+ from a friend who switched to FP6, and installed iodeOS on it, and I love it. I hope the phone will stay alive as long as possible, I will try to take good care of it.
Looking forward to browse more this forum and read about repair / upgrade guides!
Hello world! I’m AnErrupTion, an 18-year-old (unprofessional) software developer from some random area in France. I’m glad to be part of the Fairphone community!
I switched from a Samsung Galaxy S8 in November of last year to a Fairphone 6 as it was starting to become quite old and the battery was dying, and honestly, I couldn’t enjoy it more, despite the software issues I can encounter! (I haven’t encountered any hardware issues so far).
I have a few hobbies, among those are programming (who would’ve thought!), listening to music and playing video games (obligatory OneShot shilling).
It also feels nice supporting a company that puts ethics first, which is so unfortunately rare. I’m hoping to get along with this what-looks-to-be nice community, and hoping I’ll prove useful as well!
Hi there, I’m Dominick. I am an OS developer that primarily focuses on non-linear architectures. I’ve been working on an MIT open source project on GitHub designing a specialized OS for the Fairphone 5, while also being able to be translated across all other operating systems. Its based on the Human Cell. I’m glad to be able to explore this development environment with you.
