I don’t think so, since my operator is Orange France. Whatever it is, it’s not Vodafone-related, more like a commercial agreement between Fairphone and the “friDay” app makers.
Strange though that you can see those apps in App info. As you can read further up, for the rest of us they are only visible in the “Data Saver” settings, they do not appear in the App list, even if you enable “system apps”.
Have you been in Taiwan (or some Asian place)? That could had “waken” those (otherwise only virtual) apps.
