Vodafone 700 MHz in Germany

In this Heise News article I found that Vodafone will start using the 700 MHz block that was freed when DVB-T analog was shut down.

The tech data on the FP3 list these LTE bands: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 20, 26. Band 13 is in the 700 Mhz range (746–756 and 777–787). The other band in the 700 MHz range are 12, 14, 17, 28, 29, 44, 67 and 68. I did not find out which bands Vodafone will be using.

Since I live out in the country, this is quite interesting. Does anybody have more precise information about the band(s) Vodafone Germany will be using, and what this means for the FP3?

Update: I found some information about the band Vodafone will be using in DE. Seems to be band 28 in LTE and n70 in 5G.

Band 3 is the 1800 Mhz range, the frequencies you mention are band 13. It doesn’t look like FP3 is compatible with any bands in the 700 Mhz range.

Jupp, that’s a typo. I’ll correct it.

The band 13 is in the 700 MHz range as I wrote, and it is supported by the FP3 per the tech specs.

I somehow read over 13 in the tech specs, I wonder whether we’ll see use of band 13 in Europe soon.
