Recording any video with the camera app results in a super shaky video. I have the EIS feature activated but it doesn’t help. Is there any way to fix this?
The Support page mentions a OIS feature but I can’t find a toggle for that anywhere, only the EIS option.
Okay I just played around more and it seems that the EIS toggle in the settings is REVERSED! My video recordings are in fact stabilized when the toggle is off, but not when the toggle is activated. In comparison the Shutter sound effect toggle works as expected.
Just writing the solution if anyone else would have the same problem.
I can’t really reproduce this. I think the issue is that the EIS doesn’t do much (for the main camera), but I do see some more stabilization when using EIS.
