Can an old FP3 be upgraded to FP6?

Which kind of upgrade do you mean?
You will not be able to buy some parts to turn an FP3 into an FP6.

you buy FP6 and thats your upgrade. was it ever differently? android platform.
Maybe the question is if there is any trade in option, worth thinking about upgrading…
At least that would be my question besides I am having a FP4.

When I first bought my FP3 I thought as a sustainable smart phone which you could just keep upgrading parts and you’d have a phone for life… Maybe I was too enthusiastic by the word sustainable.
It is a sustainable phone. But this is a major hardware overhaul. Components are not compatible.

sustainable means - you can replace your screen or battery when it get damaged. And you can make it quit easily. But new Fairphone Model is totaly different hardware, the parts are not compatible between the models. every Fairphone Model is different. But you still can buy parts for your Fairphone 3 and keep it the whole life.
