We’re excited to share some big news! The software upgrade to Android 15 is now rolling out for Fairphone 5. The new version is FP5.VT28.C.042, and it comes with a host of new features and improvements - many of them based on your feedback and the latest advancements from Android.
Here’s what’s included in this upgrade:
- Private Space
Create a separate private space with an extra layer of authentication to keep sensitive apps, like social, dating, or banking apps, secure and hidden from prying eyes.
- Passkeys Integration
Passkeys are now available on Fairphone 5, allowing you to enjoy password-free, one-tap sign-in for supported apps and services.
- Theft Protection
A new Theft Protection hub makes it easier to secure your device with proactive security tools and tips, helping you protect your data and recover your phone if it’s lost or stolen.
