Well, as stated above, in the mean time you can avoid the apps by using a secondary profile on the phone, see the FP article.

You can run but you can never hide, as they say: Orange bloatware is tied to your SIM and will always, automatically (re)install itself after a restart. 
This is not Fairphone’s fault, it would be the same with any other phone brand, it’s entirely the fault of Orange’s overbearing greed and their contempt for their clients…
That been said, what I have done (and which seems to work so far) is to disable “Orange Manual Selector” (in Settings/Apps).
I have restarted my phone a couple times since and it is still inert, and it hasn’t hasn’t “gifted” me with unwanted bloatware anymore.
