Continuing the discussion from [UNOFFICIAL] Stock ROM Android 4.4.2 Kitkat for FP1 & FP1U:
Maybe people with more knowledge than me (@chrmhoffmann) can explain this. I assume that the MTK code is a bit behind the latest 4.4 Android sources and needs to be “hand”-merge where possible and rechecked (compiler, function results), but I’m not sure.
