Unable to register for extended warranty

Hi. I recently purchased a Fairphone 5 with /e/OS from the Murena website and have been struggling to register for the extended warranty on the Fairphone website. I can get as far as the page for entering details about the purchase(at Warranty Login Page | Fairphone), but submitting the page just takes me back to the device selector page instead of continuing the registration process.

I have tried with my adblock disabled and with three different browsers (Firefox and Brave on a laptop, and the default Chrome-derived browser on the phone).

How can I register for the extended warranty?

I am wondering if you purchased the handset on the Murena website if there’s a way to register your warranty through the Murena website !
I’m guessing that’s all ! Good luck in trying to resolve the issue

I just checked and Murena website in fact redirects to the FP warranty site. So that should not be the reason

I remember the process was said to be more stable via a laptop/pc, but have no further idea how to help @punkpen

Thank you for your comments. I suspect it is a bug in the registration process that some clever person operating the Fairphone website will have to fix.

I’d recommend to contactsupport to make sure FP is aware of your problem (and may eventually fix the website for cases like yours).

Thanks for pointing it out; I’ve been having the exact same problem for almost two weeks now as well. No replies from support either. Any updates on this?

I am experiencing the same issue
Just received a new Fairphone 5 and get error message when trying to register the extended warranty.
Something went wrong, please try again later.
Try again?
I have tried, several times, over the last 5 days.
Submitted a email request via the online form, which typically limits reasons to submit a support request to nothing relevant.

I had the same problem in february. I sent a message to support, I got some automatic response that they will respond when they can as they’re busy with many customers at the moment. I guess we need to give them the time they need to get to it.
