Trouble with Earphone-Adapter FP4 - Bose Quiet Comfort 15

Hi all,
we ordered a FP4 together with the audio-jack adapter for USB C from the shop.
No indication in the shop about potential incompatibilities.
Now the adapter does work fine with a simple cable earphone, but it does not work with the Bose Quiet Comfort 15. Once the simple earphone was plugged in, the Bose works as well, but when starting fresh, the Bose is not recognised.

Anyone with the same problem and/or with a solution?
Thanks,
Eckhard

PS: I found for a similar adapter (Ugreen USB-C to 3.5 mm earphone, SKU: 50631) the notice that it is incompatible with Bose QC 20 or 25 …

For all interested:
The solution is the LEVEL switch on the headphone cord of the QC15.
If set to high (as is recommended for “normal” audio devices), the QC15 is not recognized by the adapter. If set to low (as is recommended for airplane in-flight entertainment systems with high volumne output), it is recognized correctly!
Hope that helps someone…
