Transferring contacts

Ok, here is the problem.

I need to transfer all of my 700 contacts from an Iphone without a sim-card to a Fairphone 2. I cannot copy contacts via the sim-card, since it is to small for the FP.

So, I tried doing this via my computer, a PC, with some type of chord, which did not work.

Any suggestions as to how I can solve this problem are warmly welcome!

Currently I am am carrying my Iphone with me so that I have all my numbers available. I cannot have it like this :S

THANK YOU!

You could try syncing with iCloud or Gmail.

Are you using Fairphone OS or Fairphone Open OS?

If it’s Fairphone OS, you need a Google Account anyway and can follow the procedure described here. Thus you should be able to sync your contacts with your Google Account. They are then automatically synced with your Fairphone.

If you do not want to use Google (and you’re using Fairphone Open OS), you might follow this short guide:

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3824602?start=0

to export your contacts as csv or vcf file. Afterwards you can import your contacts to your Fairphone using one of the plenty apps (e.g. Import Contacts).

Hope this helps…

Hi Clemens

Thank you for your advice. But don’t I need a simcard and internet access
to the old Iphone to do so?

Thanks!

Maybe you could use a free WiFi hotspot in your area if you don’t have WiFi at home
