I actually liked the orange speaker-to-speaker cables. They don’t seem to be available in a 2025 version. Already bought one of the 2023 ones for future use…

I’m afraid I don’t know how to measure the delay in microseconds but it’s noticeable that the audio is not synchronized with the lip movements. The effect occurs when I watch a video on the FP5. I haven’t tried using a wire, but I’ll do that. Thanks for the suggestion. Also, I watched videos on a Lenovo tablet recently with the Fairbuds XL and there was no problem. Plus, I haven’t tested the situation with the phone since updating to Android 15. I’ll make a few observations over the upcoming holidays. Thanks again for your interest.
Which app do you use? I’m not sure if it’s system wide or app local, but YouTube and Plex can sync the Bluetooth delay. Games cannot of course, because those are interactive, you cannot sync something that hasn’t happened yet. Which app do you use to play videos?
I’m fairly sure it was Netflix. I’ll check it again!
I’m extremely pleased to say that the Fairbuds XL now work fine with Netflix and YouTube.

I heard a rumour that there will be a software update to improve ANC on the 2023 Fairbuds XL? Specifically to reduce the issues with wind and ANC. And also the new cushions are supposed to reduce wind reaching microphones?
The headphone modules of the refresh are back in stock. So if you want to upgrade your 2023 model, you can for about 100 euro.
