I’ve just bought and installed the newer Camera+ Module (48MP) in my FP3. The camera works but I can’t select the higher resolution in the options. 12MP is still the maximum. Is there something I am missing?
Ah, sorry. A little bit more reading would have worked wonders and I would have found the solution myself. This post deals with the exact same issue: FP3+: New camera module still generating 12 MP pictures

You aren’t missing anything, the newer module has an 48 MP sensor, but its output is still just 12 MP. You might want to have a look here for a previous discussion:
