Supported apps on /e/OS

I am considering purchasing a Fairphone 6 with e/OS, but I was wondering if it is possible to install the following applications without Google Play Services:

  1. ASN app (banking)
  2. DigiD (identification)
  3. Berichtenbox (MijnOverheid)

Does anyone have experience with this?

Hello, over on the eOS community forum they have a list of banking apps tha show whether they work or donā€™t. ASN is listed but doesnā€™t register if itā€™s working or not.

As for DigiD, therā€™re discussions about it: Search results for 'DigiD order:latest' - /e/OS community. I donā€™t speak Dutch so canā€™t tell if positive or negative.

Asn i do not know, but the other two work on my phone, ingbank and Rabobank also work fine!

SNS-app (= ASN ?) works on my phone, as well as DigId and Berichtenbox.
Also: Revolut (need latest e/OS version), DeGiro, Trade Republic and Nexent.

I confirm that the ASN Bank App works on a Faiphone FP5 Android version 15 with /e/ OS 3.2 (official), butā€¦

(At the moment, dec 15th 2025) I could only download the App using Aurora Store with Spoof manager set to ā€˜Galaxy S25 Ultraā€™.

And as mentioned before, contactless payments work through Google Pay only.

I tried this as well but get the error: ā€œapp not available for your deviceā€. Tried it in Aurora with every device type under spoofing. I have a Fairphone 5 as well with e/os: 3.2 Official. Also tried installing the APK downloaded from a different phone but still get the same error.

Welcome to the community forum.

According to the /e/OS release notes, this issue should be fixed in version 3.3, which is being rolled out right now ā€¦ Releases Ā· e / os / šŸš€ Releases Ā· GitLab
As per usual, official is being rolled out later than community, though.
