Hello,
since I tend to lose my bluetooth earphones I do still prefer using old ones with a cable.
Since there’s no more connector I bought an adapter from USB to connector, plugged it in, it worked for two seconds then Google Gemini started bugging me.
Or the music starts and then the volume is turned down to zero automatically which is just as annoying as Gemini popping up (which will occur some seconds later anyway)
Please tell me that’s not as designed!

You might try asking GG for a solution … Do post back here if you get any results.
I don’t use Gemini but have a look at the app settings.
Otherwise the best place to find out is probably over at Google.
I dared to do so (asking Gemini).
The problem occured with Sennheiser MX375 headphones.
Now I tested my old Sennheiser MX 110 - and it’s working with this.
Strange.
Well, thank you anyway, also for the welcome.
(I recently entered a solar forum and the answer to my first question was that rude (and on top not even helpful) that I’m not going there ever again) ![]()
But I do hope I don’t have to use this forum very often - thus living happily and without any problems with my Fairphone.
I noticed that the kind of weird stuff you described happens if I plug the USB adapter into the phone and then plug the earphone jack into the adapter. If I connect the earphones first to the adapter and then plugging in the USB everything works correctly.
