Fixing the storage layout takes not more than 1 or 2 hours, even for not so technically inclined people. Just follow these steps:

1. Install Titanium Backup,
2. backup your data and apps to an external SD card
3. do the storage upgrade through your Fairphone updater app
4. Restore your apps and data.

why did you decide to produce a high end phone? just out of curiosity?

I think that the Fairphone 2 is not a high end phone, it just features more durable components. If you take Fairphone 1, with lesser quality components for 325€ and assume a lifetime of 3 years, it makes the same amount of money per year compared to a high quality Fairphone 2 which should last for 5 years.
