Stock android: how high will fp1 go?

If I change the OS of my fp1 to stock android, will I be able to run later versions than 4.2.2?
Which is the most recent android version that will run on the fairphone1 hardware, once I change to stock android?

If you mean the option in the updater, that won’t get you higher than 4.2.2.
There is an unofficial version for 4.4.4 (see below), but I haven’t heard of fully functional versions higher than that.
