Is it too much to ask to bring on a script that follows the basic rules of shell sciprting? One that doesn’t fail silently. As if there were traces of software development competence and care for users in the house? Like basic testing with what users actually are holding in their hands, not the dev brick?
And the 5-item set of instructions in the README would also be nice.
I get that you’re frustrated. I’m not sure what about exactly though. If it was most important to you to express your angered feelings. Then I’d say you accomplished your mission and there’s really not much left to say other than that I do feel you … and hang in there.
But if it’s an actual problem you’re working on maybe you could spare some more details.
It kinda seems you’re trying to flash the original Android onto your Fairphone…1…2… 3… 4… 5?
You’re working on Linux (which one) and which OS is currently running on your Fairphone?
What have you been trying so far (which script are you talking about exactly)? And besides silently failing are there any other indications of not intended behavior?
