Speed charge battery

Is there a possibility to swift the charge, always low on my phone (fairphone3), to speed?
Thank you for your answer, even negative

Welcome to the Fairphone community.

Do I understand right, that you think your FP3 is charging to slow? Which charger and cable are you using? How long does it take for a full charge?

Thank you for your answer, and sorry for my bad english.
So, I have this fairphone 3 since 2 years.
Sometimes, it was charging fast, sometimes slowly; but since a few months, fast charge disappeared, it charges systematically very slowly: one full day is necessary, in theory: this is what is written on the parameter board, but there is also a connecting problem at the plug, so, it’s interrupting by itself very often, and the phone floats between 5 and 25% of charge maximum…
I have commanded a lower module, and a battery that I am waiting, hoping that it will solve the problem, but meanwhiel, if you know how to accelerate the charge, I’m interested!

You can try to clean the port, after a while a lot of debris and compressed dust can collect there and prevents the plug to connect correctly.
If it would be just a software switch, no hardware swapping would have been necessary  .

Thank you; I had already cleaned the plug with alcool, and dried it with a fan, but without success. It’s the reason why I decide to command the connecting module.
Thank you any way to have taken time for this problem; I will patient to receive the equipment.
Good continuation to you

My experience:
I recommend using USB-cable of top brands (e.g. Anker) and if you are struggling with USB-issues first change the cable and second the bottom module, which isn’t too expensive. In some cases the phone only charges in one position of the cable and 180° rotated not.

Ok, thank you for these advices.
Anyway, it’s strange that we don’t have choice between fast ans slow charge on this phone.
Bye

You still seem to believe that it is a software setting or problem, but it is most probably a connection problem. Cleaning with alcohol might help against grease on the contacts, but not against something stuffed in the USB connector. Or a broken connection in the bottom module.

Hello!
This morning, miracle: yesterday evening, my mobile was totally out of of order, with a message “don’t unplug, battery is charging”, with 1% written… with 1% no evolving at all during more than 4 hours!
At the end I went to sleep, and this morning, the phone is working, with 98%, first time since weeks!
I am very relieved (even if not completly reassured because it’s not fully rationnel) because I have no other internet connexion: I use my phone as a modem, so the health of my phone is crucial! :face_with_spiral_eyes:
Anyway, thank you for you help, and the time you spent for me: today, battery is full, sun is shining, and otpimisme is also at 98%!  :star_struck:
