Hi
Available since yesterday. Recommended? Bug fixes (in my case since Android 15; Bluetooth connection problems with libre 3 sensor)? More problems?
This is a quite safe update. Only security fixes. No bugs fixed/created.
Tried to update, but when restarting the phone it always gets stuck. The phone is then trying to reboot several times and in the end rebooting in Android 13. I guess it has to do with my broken fingerprint sensor, but I have no clue on how to fix it then. Is there any way to get help from fairphone? I already filed a support ticket, when I had the same issue with the last software update (first update relase for Android 15), where I described all the steps I have taken, but did not receive any feedback yet.
Didnât got the update yet ⌠anyone else is still waiting?

Which software is running on your phone? If itâs 15.15.2 already you wonât get it. Or is it 15.14.3 still?
My phone is running 15.15.2, okay thanks ![]()
(But why was that again? I want the security patches
)
Any news for those FP4.TP32.C.0144 Orange users? Our security update is still âNovember 5thâ, today weâre January 25th, and âbimonthlyâ means we should had received some âJanuary 5thâ update by now (Simple math: âbimonthlyâ means âevery two monthsâ, so weâve got âNovember 5thâ, skipped âDecember 5thâ, should get âJanuary 5thâ, will skip âFebruary 5th, should get âMarch 5thâ, and so on).
(Note I just want security updates, Iâve long abandoned the idea of getting A15 one day.)
This update was finally automatically offered to me (Proximus
/ Congstar
) on Monday.
Nothing got worse as far as I can tell ![]()
Hi there
My phone restarted after the installation of the 15 (FP4.SREL.15.14.4) release. The date and hour of the phone switched to 29 dĂŠcembre 4:30pm (we are the 11 of feb, 4am).
I switched back the date manually since even the wifi couldnât connect.
But I no longer have the SIM card recognized.
I do have my IMEI codes with *#06#
I pretty much tried everything, reset network settings, reboot multiple times, and went to more advanced settings but nothing is working.
How can I get support or how to do a rollback ?
I canât use my phone anymore, and itâs really bad professionally. I really regret that I had installed this upgrade.
Any idea or help would be highly appreciated ![]()
Precision : this phone was originally bought with Orange (french company) but I switched telecom service to Bouygues.

Did you also check the year in the date?
Hi,
afaik your phone (as all orange users, even former customers) shouldnât have received the A15 update. Was this update pending for a while on your phone or did it just appear?
Greets Robert
Itâs a long shot but what launcher are you using and could you change it?
Provider no longer is Orange as mentioned above and no former Orange customers are not excluded to receive the update, thats dependend on the current primary network
You cant without loosing data, as long as your bootloader is not already unlocked?
Overall Iâm with @peci1 and would check date and time again to ensure the year is also correct. Do you have a physical SIM maybe boot without it? Maybe you can borrow a SIM from a different provider and see if it helps?
Year was 2024!
Thank you so much all.
Saved my day.
Amazing to have this reactive fairphone community.
I unchecked the solution button, as the answer was for sure a solution to your problem, but not for the main topic of the thread.
Iâam an orange user under android 15 / FP4.QREL.15.14.3 with quickstep bug. Can I safely upgrade on this january version. I postponed the upgrade until now.
Regards
It will not help with the Orange bug, however I dont see above any serious issues, its just a security update
