Soft reboot when using volume buttons during a call

I have found old forum topics on this but no solution.

When I am in a call or an app called via WiFi andwant to use my volume button the call is ended and the phone does a soft fast reboot.
Also sometimes the volume buttons don’t adjust the volume.

This is really annoying for me and the one I am calling. I use those volume buttons every day.

Can someone give a good solution?

You could upgrade to the unofficial kitkat release. I’ve been running this well on my FP1 for already 2 years, I think.
