Sim card constraint or not?

Hello Fairphone community!
I would simply like to ask if anyone is knows something about this:
-> When you buy it with a carrier offer (buy cheaper but it with an abandonment), is the FP2 going to be constrained to this carrier? This often happens with other phones, officially. Yet, FP2 is dual sim: it makes little sense to constrain it to one carrier. Does anyone have some knowledge about this ?

I don’t think it’s possible for carriers to bind the FP to their SIMs.
