Signal messenger tells me it’s outdated. When it did in the past, i could re-activate it by clicking on A(PPS) - so i could activate without using google play. this time, this doesn’t seem to work.
what can i do to re-activate without using google play???

You might be able to update Signal manually:

You should be able to use the Aurora Store to download and update, at least thats what I do using Iode OS without Google stuff

I downloaded it about two years ago and it updates itself frequently, almost every two weeks and at least once a month
