Serial number for earbuds

I want to register the extended warranty for my earbuds but it needs the serial number. I have seen that it should be in the original packaging which I have but where? What is the format? Otherwise I have to take the base apart to find the serial number?

Pleas check:

On the Fairbuds brown carton box I have here there is a small white sticker with a barcode on the smallest side (the right side when you look at the white FAIRPHONE lettering on the biggest side). There is a number that starts with “S/N”.

Thanks yes have read that was hoping to find the serial number in the packaging and save having to take the base apart but think that will be my only option.

Thanks I can’t see a sticker with an S/N number anywhere o the cartoon it must have come off. Guess I will have the go and find a screwdriver!

Hi,
I have encountered a problem with my Fairbud since a couple of day.
So I have tried to ask for help from the support online.
A serial number is required. I have this S/N, on the box and inside the case. Nevertheless, when I key in that number in the devoted field from the online support form, I get a message saying : wrong IMEI.
I don’t want to key in an IMEI as it is not a fairphone, but a fairbud product (it is actually said to use a S/N).
Anyone else got this problem and how to fix that?

I have a borrowed pair of Fairbuds here with a 12-digit S/N and I just tried to replicate your issue. Strangely, when I enter ANYTHING (even something nonsensical) in the S/N field, it seems to get accepted (click to see screenshot), while I do get error messages for other fields being left blank (I do not want to actually trigger a Support ticket). – I tested this in the most recent Firefox and Safari browsers on a Mac on the latest version of MacOS.

Thank you. Indeed, weed behavior from the form…
I will try without anything in the S/N field, as I do have something in all other fields.
Let see.

Alternatively, you might want to submit a Support ticket in the 'General Inquiry' category with fewer fields to fill in, but include the S/N and other data in the 'Description' field. So when you contact Support in the Live Chat, you would already have a ticket number to tell them.

For some reason, I can’t use that trick. I have an error message whatever I live that IMEI S/N field blank our with nonsensical things… I will try the other way you propose. ‘General Inquiry’ category
