I have a Fairphone 3+ since almost 6 years. From the beginning the selfie camera did not work. I told the Fairphone people in Amsterdam. I had to install a new camera chip. I did . No effect . I had to renew the system. I did ..no effect. I asked for a new phone. No answer. I dont know what to do. Their service is bad. Anyone heard of this problem?
Don’t you think you are a bit late to post about this after 6 years? What do you expect from this forum? Or do you have any recent experience with the support departement?

After a new camera and reinstalling the OS didn’t help, it’s clearly a defect which should have been handled within the warranty period by Fairphone.
It sounds like you were in a support process with them. Was this when you still had warranty? If so, do you still have the conversation with the case number and their answers? You could try to pick it up again with them.
I don’t quite see what we could do here other than pointing to fairphoneangels (local volunteers offering help in their spare time), who you could ask whether they would be able to take a look, if you had them in your vicinity.
Actually when @Corydalis as OP decides to switch to local language thats fine and we can indicate with language flags. We should just not switch languages when we are not the OP.
