RSS feed gone from website?

Not sure if this is the right category, since this is about the fairphone website.

I like following blogs using a feed reader. It keeps my inbox clean and it means I can easily come back to specific articles.

But the feed that used to live at https://www.fairphone.com/en/feed/ is dead now :frowning: presumably replaced by Stay on top of all things Fairphone with Fairphone Stories , which does not feature an RSS or Atom feed from what I can see.

Posting here in case there are others who’d like to ask for the feed back <3 :folded_hands:

I didn’t notice it disappearing, that’s upsetting! I too use RSS and followed this feed. Without it I will simply not see any updates. I have quite enjoyed for the time it’s been active.

Another example of how out touch Fairphone is with a large part of their users..

While I personally am in favour of having RSS feeds, I would not assume a large part of users is using RSS these days, but whatever we want to assume or project is not important.

@Fairphone_CM … is the RSS feed gone for good, or is this a technical glitch similar to the Legal Hub lately, and it perhaps can be brought back quickly?

@Fairphone_CM I also was following the FP blog via RSS, now it’s gone and I’m missing the news. What about opening a Mastodon account? At least that one can be followed via RSS without any profilation nor algorithmic feed.

Thanks for mentioning this @AllieCat! I’m also a RSS enthusiast and I hadn’t noticied that the Fairphone feed was no longer working. :frowning:

It would be great to have a feed for every category that is available on the Stories page!

I too am missing Fairphone Stories RSS feed. For some reason, many pages I would like to subscribe to, don’t have RSS feeds on them. I created this tiny tool that scraps websites every hour and outputs a feed to subscribe to, and as sorry as I am that I had to do that, unofficial RSS and Atom feeds are available to you if you want it (website’s in Polish, but you will find what you need).
