Someone I referred recently (1.5 weeks ago) bought a Fairphone 6 using my referral code. They received the €50 discount without any issues, but I haven’t received the 250 Fairphone Points on my account.
I’ve already contacted Fairphone support but haven’t heard back yet.
Has anyone else experienced this? How long did it take for your points to show up?
I made a referral last autumn. I received the points without issue, but I suspect that the timescale for receiving them must have been a few weeks. I will double check and update tomorrow if I remember.
6.6 When purchasing the Product with the Referred Friend Discount Code, the general Terms and Conditions of Purchase apply, including the right to a Cool-off period of 14 days from the receipt of the Product. In the event the Referred Friend exercises this right, such Referred Friend will be reimbursed the monetary value of the Product reduced by the discount applied and the Advocate will not receive their Points. If the Referred Friend does not exercise their right to a Cool-off period of 14 days from the receipt of the Product, after a minimum of 14 days the Advocate receives the 250 Points.
However, my keep club points (not from referral) were usually late and now I have been waiting for a successful tier promotion for at least a month, and like two months for points due to recycling, so I would not be extremely optimistic you can try speeding up the process via live chat I guess
Ok, I had forgotten this (I had issues with several Keep Club ‘glitches’, but I hadn’t remembered this being one), but I could see my referral as ‘pending’ for around a month without receiving the points before I got in touch with support to query it and they ended up adding points manually.
EDIT: I now spotted that you already contacted support so hopefully they will get this resolved in due course, assuming that it doesn’t happen automatically… I like the username by the way!

I´ll wait for the 14 days and hope that they´ll add my points soon afterwards, as I wanted to buy an armoured glass directly from fairphone. However I haven´t reached 120 points yet, so my delivery isn´t free yet haha.
I had the benefit of dealing with this, and the other Keep Club points issues that I alluded to, before support requests suddenly became substantially delayed so good luck with your request. I currently have the ‘issue’ of having reached Gold tier, but the system not having recognised this with the 1.5 times point multiplier nor the ‘personal gift’ from the team, but this is very much a first world issue given that I already redeemed most of my points on orders with free postage.
Luckily the support answered today and they gave me my 250 points, yay!
that 5uck5 (it´s a banned word haha) regarding your problem with the Gold Tier, hopefully they´ll fix it somehow. I mean you´re right that it´s not a big issue, but still nice to have ^^
I´d like to ask something new: having reached silver status, I wanted to buy a phone case, screen protector and charger + cable. I´ll reach gold status by buying this.
I can, however, use 250 points to get a 25€ discount. If I use my keep club points as discount, do I lose them in my progress of getting gold status? Because in that case I would defer using them, reach gold status and then use them in a few years to buy spare pieces (battery, etc.)
Ah, good result! In terms of Tier status, your points total should increase even as you convert them to vouchers and spend them, although it will start to diminish in time as they expire, I think three years after they have been earnt, at least as I understand the T&C’s, e.g. I currently only have 128 points that I can convert to vouchers, which I can see at the top of the Keep Club page under the personal greeting, but I have earnt 538 points in terms of Tier status which I can see further down under ‘Leveling up’…
Actually, looking at the T&Cs again, I see that they are supposed to email about the ‘personal gift’ for reaching Gold tier - not receiving Fairphone emails is another of the bugs that my account appears to suffer from so I think I will create a ticket to ask if I should have received an email about this or not yet.
Actually, reading the T&Cs again (4.2), it sounds like points only expire after three years if they have not been converted to vouchers so that has nothing to do with tier status. It also says that after 12 months of inactivity, tier status will be downgraded to the previous tier. However, when a phone has been registered it should earn birthday points every year so in theory this will never actually happen?
