Recycling old Fairphone 1U

can i recycle my old fairphone 1U, if it is not possible to turn it on? and get the 40 €?

Unfortunately not as under “Terms & Conditions” it says “The device of which you use the IMEI number to get our free shipping label should at least be able to boot up”.
