I’ve had it twice now when my fairphone starts ringing randomly. No messages coming through, no call, no alarm, no nothing… just the phone ringing for no apparent reason and I can’t stop it manually.
Anyone else had this?

Just to check: does it ring at maximum volume? I.e. could someone be playing a game on you via android device manager?
It rings at whatever volume is set on the handset. I don’t know what you mean with the device manager comment.
It’s probably not relevant: Android provides a security app that can be stalled (android device manager) that interacts with your google account. It allows you to locate and remotely lock, erase, or ring the phone. There’s an explanation here. As far as I know, it will ring at max volume, so it’s probably not related to what you’re experiencing.
