I’m writing a blog about sustainability, ethical economics and evidently fairphone possess these qualities. Since there are people here who have knowledge about phones and it’s a lovely bunch of helpful people, I was wondering if other community members could answer the questions for my interview
What was the ethical motivation for buying the phone?
Or, what values motivated you to buy a fairphone?
Other popular smartphones are now attempting to become more sustainable and aim for greater reusability, recycled parts, what do you think about this? Will their backstepping approach lead them to a similar design as Fairphone or has Fairphone created a standard which is difficult to achieve by other smartphone brands?
Any answers are appreciated, the article is about the fairphone and whether the kind of intelligent technology requires a greater ethical mode of operations to be considered intelligible.
