I’ve been a member of, and occasionally responding to questions in, an unofficial Discord called “The Fairphone Discord”.
It used to be quite small and clearly labelled unofficial. But more the amount of members seems to be growing (almost at a 100), and so does the amount of messages and structure, that might make it seem more official, and people might not see that it isn’t.
Given Fairphone’s poor customer support over the past months, an unofficial channel might attract more people, which might mean that any mistakes there could lead to that reflecting on Fairphone even though it isn’t by Fairphone.
