Since a day or two I cannot type the letter “r” when sending a message/text. It comes out as both the letters “e” and “t” on both sides of the “r”. I have restarted the phone, changed my keyboard settings, (I don’t use a screen protector) but nothing seems to work.

Yeah that looks bad, you should contact support and ask for a replacement screen/phone.
