I just so happen to launch the Mario Kart Tour game, & it just crashes on startup. I know the US phone system has been compromised by Chinese hackers. I would still think wifi wouldn’t be an issue since I’ve disabled cellular data. Its not a big deal for me. I would just read a book or something. I’m just surprised that its not just this service lately that’s been having problems. I’ve noticed paramount Plus also has this very problem. Couldn’t load any videos on that platform. Has anyone else experienced this problem. I can use some help and would be much appreciated in advance thanks.
Haven’t played the game in a long time, so when I startn it, it wants to download 900 MB of update data (which I won’t do as I’m not in my WiFi right now), but doesn’t crash. I’m in Germany and not the US, though.
Maybe try to delete and reinstall it. As it’s account-based all your achievements should be save.
EDIT: Back home I just updated Mario Kart Tour, and it runs perfectly fine on my FP5. No problems with Paramount+ either, but I think the service runs on a different software outside the US.
Timestamp of 7:27 for reference of what’s going on in the USA. This could be the reason why mine keeps crashing on both phones. Its most likely a error in the provider I use. I’m noticing the internet here has been on the broken side because of this attack on the Telecom networks. Still this shouldn’t be what’s causing this issue though. Its just weird that only WiFi is enabled on both phones and still are having problems with certain applications. I did do the troubleshooting step mentioned here and signed in yet again still the same crashing error. Must be only in the states. I just reported this to the down detector website under Nintendo Network. If this happens to continue I might as well call Nintendo about the issue. I was hoping that i didn’t have to wait on hold for hours because of the Holiday season. Thanks anyway. Here is a screenshot of my network status bar if this would be helpful in any way; however unlikely.
