What do you mean exactly?
Do you mean the “all apps widget” or the edge swipe? Those are both gone.
Or do you mean apps are actually not installed anymore?
Did you store apps on your external SD card? If so please continue here.
Also for instagram and other app issues check if you gave them all the permissions they need (in Settings > Apps).
