Powerbank for FP4

I am looking for a powerbank for my new Fairphone 4, since my old powerbank (for my old FP2) does not seem to charge my FP4, in spite of that I am using the right cable.

Is it correct that powebanks build for the USB-port, FP2 use, are incompatible with the USB-port, FP4 uses?

And which powerbank would you recommend me to buy for a Fairphone 4?

That doesn’t make a lot of sense, but you could be right.

Check the output.

The FP4 should charge from a dumb 5V USB A computer output, albeit very slowly.

So what protocol and voltage does your powerbank use, and how come you didn’t mention which one you are using ??

doesn’t say much does it

I have a powerbank from Xiaomi (plm027m) 10000 MAH. The powerbank charges my Fairphone 2 and Fairphone 3 and Fairphone 4 without any problems.

Sorry, my old powerbank is this, I have taken some photos of.

Okay, maybe I should try that

Hi and thanks for the info.

You may want to try another cable or two. The 5V output/input is low and may even taken time for the phone to recognise it.

have you left it plugged in for a few hours, whilst powered off. You can press the power button briefly to see the charge state without powering the phone ON
