Possible FP3 universal battery charger?

Am loving my new FP3+.

I would like to be able to charge my spare battery separately from the phone itself. I have found a universal charger that looks as though it could, physically, work: the pins seem to be adjustable and the pins are, in fact, blades, that should fit into the narror contact slots on the FP3 battery.

I note the output voltage is 8.4V - 16.8 V, and the output current is 500-800 mA.

Question: Does anyone know if this would, in fact, work?

That I don’t know. But I do know a charger which works …

Unable to charge battery

As an example, this universal smartphone battery charger here works for the Fairphone 3 battery: It works because the 2 contact parts are thin enough and stand out enough. So, even if this particular charger might not be available somewhen somewhere, if anybody is in need, just look for universal chargers with similarly shaped contacts.

I guess, you should go for the optiong @AnotherElk has pointed to.

The charger you have linked to, says to be loading batteries with a voltage from 6.8 to 16.8. Since the Fairphone batterie has 3.8 only, I wouldn’t consider using this charger.

The batteries it is meant for (according to the product description) are ones for JVC cam-corders with 7.4V.
