Since the most recent forum upgrade, you can also create swipe through/click through photo galleries with [grid mode=carousel] … [/grid]:
Right arrow key and left arrow key also work (at least on a physical keyboard).
Same gallery in 
simple [grid] mode.

It’s also possible for the forum admin to make it the default when more than 3 images are together.
It can be activated in: https://forum.fairphone.com/admin/config/experimental
