I try to mention @angels_munich here…

There seems to be some glitch there

What should appear as “technical details” when you mention @angels_munich ?

I’m talking about the…

{“me…

…part.
That doesn’t seem right to me.

Ok, you’re right. The weird thing is that in some browsers I don’t see that part…:

You are right, I even managed to find one (Falkon), that doesn’t show

Technical group details

at all :see_no_evil:

And I noticed there are behind > Technical group details in your screenshot and that’s not in my first one either.
This is weird!

Folks, I don’t really see a big issue here. You are viewing an abbreviated preview of the group profile, and it naturally varies between browsers (with their different settings, note the differing font sizes in your screenshots) how much the preview shows. The full profile is only shown when you visit it.

I can give some background here  The “Technical group details” were an attempt to store Fairphone Community Map details directly with the group. (So that they show up in the groups JSON endpoint).

Question:
How can I type aachen.fairphone.community as a plain, non-hyperlinked text (and without grey background)?

Not that elegant, but possible: HTML (leave out the three blanks): < font> Text< /font>
Just putting the closing tag < /font> at the end actually does the trick, too:

aachen.fairphone.community (No, will not work when another hyperlink precedes this in the same paragraph

aachen.fairphone.community

Just use the html code for one of the separators rather than a full top

I found some discussion about this in the Discourse forum.

So <span>aachen.fairphone.community</span> should work:
aachen.fairphone.community

Thanks for your approaches. I’ll try them out.

Update: It seems the problem is with the preceding link.

fairphone.com | aachen.fairphone.community (using accent keys `` )
fairphone.com | aachen.fairphone.community (using amoun’s period code)
fairphone.com | aachen.fairphone.community (using hirnsushi’s span tag)

To refer to the “use case”, it’s the Contact line below the photo here that is concerned: 🇩🇪 🇬🇧 Fairphone Community Aachen :community_round: 10 Mai 2022

I might have to consider putting all the links in that line into a href HTML tags.

Update 2: Dang, that doesn’t help either :frowning:

fairphone.com | aachen.fairphone.community (using accent keys `` )
fairphone.com | aachen.fairphone.community (using amoun’s period code)
fairphone.com | aachen.fairphone.community (using hirnsushi’s span tag)

I just tried aachen.fairphone<span>.</span>community and that seems to work:
