Phone wont boot after update

After the latest update, the FP4 wont boot up. When I try to boot, the screen lightens up a little (from black to dark grey) and then it switches itself off again.
I can´t reach any menus or get it recognized by a computer. What can I do?

So the update finalised? Can you boot into fastboot?

Press and hold down the Volume down button while pressing the Power button

I didn´t watch the whole process but I don´t think it finalised the update. If it did, it must have tried to reboot again afterwards and then got stuck - which I´d say is unlikely.
I can´t get into fastboot.

Hello!
To boot into fastboot there is also another option that -from my experience- works better:

(Phone is powered off) Hold the Volume down button and then plug a USB-C cable.

Could you give it a try?

I tried it. It does nothing, neither on the broken phone nor on a friends FP4 that otherwise works normally.

Indeed it should work at least on the friends FP4 :sweat_smile:

I just did a try again: the USB-C cable must be alimented. So connect a USB-C cable that is already pluged-in on the other side, to a PC or to a power plug :slight_smile:

If you really cant get into fastboot, you habe to contact support, fastest way should be the online chat

@oli.sax Your fastboot method does not work for me, on neither of the phones.

@yvmuell I have contacted support. I´m afraid I´ll have to send it in :confused:
