I was quite embarassed today. My phone was on silent during a seminar (nothing made any sound!) and I was playing angry birds, then suddenly an add pops up (in the game) and starts to make incredible noise. How is this possible if my phone is on silent?! Someone told me to turn down the “media” volume… But I can’t find media volume anywhere! Will I ever be able to play games during seminars again?? This sucks 
Turn down the volume while the game is on-screen. You’ll notice that to the left of the volume slider displayed there’s a loudspeaker (i.e. media volume). This in contrast to the phone displayed when you turn up or down the volume when you’re on the home screen (i.e. phone volume).
