Order status locked

Hi,

Yesterday I ordered a new FP5. Delivery would take 2 to 5 days. Today I checked the current status a saw status “geblokkeerd” in dutch and “locked” if I change the language to english. However, as a native dutch speaker, “locked” and “geblokkeerd” are 2 different things as in “geblokkeerd” being not good and being “out of our hands” and “locked” not neccesarily bad and being at Fairphone’s side.

So, my question? What is the actual status and will this locked/blocked status lead to a longer delivery time?

Thanks for your answer.
Jeroen

Yes, this term is confusing. I had exactly the same recently with a spare part order and fortunately, it seems to be “normal” right now and apparently does not indicate a problem or a delay. I made my order on the evening of 10 February and the “locked” status showed (I think) right after I had paid. The spare part arrived on 12 February here in my town.
(In my customer account, the status of the order is still shown as “locked” right now.)

Hope you’ll enjoy your new Fairphone. :+1:
