@mike_1312 ok maybe you want to give more details as I would be more than surprised if that would not be achievable?
There are many tools out there to do such things, however without knowing what actually you are missing it might be to much poking in the dark to suggest tools.
I know what I want/need.
As always on each of my phones I’m planning to install AFWall+ and AdAway in order to get a little bit more control over the device and data shared. Also need the access to the root system to modify sounds, images and colours.
All the root-less blocking systems via VPN don’t work for me, because I need the phone’s VPN to really connect with networks.
well than I dont see what is holding you as root is already possible and used, however as you say you dont need advise, you dont want to discuss and you know what you want got it
I’ll have to check out later, when I’ve got enough time and can focus on the rooting. Right now I’m keeping it a little bit slow, as the phone or it’s software is not 100% stable.
With the software FP6.QREL.15.91.0.20250606204727_VS15-factory fastboot was working as expected, but at that point of time I didn’t find a reliable and confirmed way of rooting.
With yesterday’s software update to FP6.QREL.15.105.0.20250623223003_VS1C-factory the fastboot mode seems to be broken. I can start the phone to fastboot mode but fastboot commands don’t reach the phone anymore.
I’m using adguard on my homelab and my phone has a constant wireguard connection to my home network.
Easiest and least resource-intensive way to do it.
Before that I used a local vpn with blocklists but that’s more compute intense for the phone
Shame on me! You’re right!
I have overseen that I somehow ended up in recovery mode instead of the bootloader mode.
Time for a shorter cable, so the phone is closer to me, as well I think it’s time for some
