In all the excitement about my new Fairphone, I messed up the
security patches when installing e/os (stock was
apparently 5.9.25 and e/os is 1.9.25; I haven’t used
and was a bit overwhelmed by all
the new steps, etc.) and now I can’t lock my bootloader anymore,
which means many apps I need don’t work…
Am I correct in understanding that I now just have to wait for a new release
of e/os official that has a newer security patch level
than my Fairphone had when it was delivered? Then I have to flash it
and can lock the bootloader again?
After the “corrupted, can’t boot” screen appeared after relocking, I
unlocked the bootloader again, flashed e/os official again via fastboot
script, and now the thing is running again, but only with
an open bootloader…
Vor lauter Aufregung über mein neues Fairphone hab ich das mit den Sicherheitspatches beim Installieren von e/os vermasselt (stock war anscheinend 5.9.25 und e/os ist 1.9.25; ich habe seit ca einem Jahrzehnt fastboot etc. nicht mehr verwendet und war etwas überfordert mit all den neuen Schritten etc.) und kann nun meinen bootlocker nicht mehr sperren, ergo laufen viele apps nicht, die ich brauche…
Verstehe ich richtig, dass ich nun einfach auf einen neuen release der e/os official warten muss, der ein neueres Sicherheitspatchlevel hat, als mein fairphone hatte im auslieferungszustand? Dann muss ich den flashen und kann dann den bootloader wieder locken?
nachdem nach dem relock der “corrupted, cant boot” screen kam habe ich den bootloader wieder unlockt, e/os official wieder per fastboot script geflasht und nun läuft die kiste wieder, aber halt nur mit offenem bootloader…
