How can I start the camera without logging in first, as was possible in my Samsung galaxy 7?

Press the power button twice quickly and the camera will open.

Does not work with my FP5 with Android 14, but with another FP4 with Android 13 it is working.
I can confirm that it does work on a fairphone 5.
By any chance, did you accidentally disabled this function in settings?

Are sure you have enabled Settings/System/Gestures/Quickly open camera ?

Hmmm…
the first time you must unlock with PIN and in case of several Cam Apps installed confirm which one to use. Works perfectly fine on my FP5 as well. This feature exist since many Android Versions and I never had any issue on any FP with this.

Thank you for that switch, I don’t think I saw that before and turned it off. It works now, without asking for a pin.
