Not able to start the phone today

When I pressed the ON button this morning, my phone said: FAIRPHONE and nothing more. What is wrong?

  • Turn off the phone (long press Power until it is off). Wait a few seconds. Turn it on again.

  • Perhaps Volume down got stuck (booting the phone into #dic:fastboot mode, which would only show the Fairphone logo like you described)?
    Try to start the phone after taking the cover off.

  • Is the battery charged?
