Non-glass display protector recommendations?

Hello,

I currently use the official privacy filter screen protector on my FP4. Unfortunately I find the touchscreen quite inaccurate at times, with e.g. taps and swipes being interpreted as swipes and taps respectively etc. I wanted to try a thinner (non-glass) protector to see if this fixes the issue, i.e. just a regular plastic foil. However, I wasn’t able to find any non-glass screen protectors at all. Does anyone here have any recommendations for those? Do they actually just not exist?

(also happy if you have other advice for how to deal with this touchscreen problem, but I was planning to get rid of the privacy filter either way)

Ghost inputs on FP4

Dear community, my name is Christoph and I bought my FP4 in July 2022. Since several weeks I have an issue with ghost touching and as the official Fairphone support didnt answer my requests since more than 14 days now I am hoping to get support here: From time to time (sometimes every 10 minutes, sometimes once an hour) the phone reacts like I would wildly touch the screen and for example swipe or zoom in or do single touches. Bad touch digitizer ground connection?

Hi! The first thing I noticed was that the touch digitizer becomes completely unresponsive if the phone is laid on certain surfaces (specially my bed and my desk). Touching the metal frame of the phone fixes this issue until I let go. Then I noticed some ghost touches happening around the center of the screen. As far as I understand, ghost touches refer to when the phone registers touch input despite me not touching the screen - which is not the problem I am describing. I looked at these two topics before posting, and concluded those are talking about a different problem.

The touchscreen is simply inaccurate from my experience, sometimes I need to swipe up on my screen like 10 times in a row to unlock, until the swipe is finally properly registered. Though most of the time it is not nearly this bad.
