I want to insert birthday-dates into my contacs. After that they should be automatically transferred by sync into my calender. But there is no line to be seen if I open the button “add an additional field”.

Where are your contacts stored?
If you are storing them on SIM or Phone, I don’t believe you can save this kind of information. You need to be storing your contacts on Google or another service to be able to add birthdays I believe.
It does work for CardDAV contacts also.
I’m pretty sure, it works with CardDav Contacts, because I’m using a owncloud Server with a CardDav client.

But it’s definitely not working with contacts on your sim-card.
