New main body, how?

I use my fp6 without a case. It’s repairable, and I prefer the feel without increasing the size with a case.

Issue is, I’m not the most careful person in the world, so while I don’t actively try to destroy my device I did scuff it a bit, and know I’ll properly drop it someday, potentially breaking the main plastic body.

However, I don’t see a main body available on the website.

So big question, how likely is it that FP will release the main plastic body at some point?

hello
I can’t talk for a company but it has not been done in the past and I would imagine that if possible (if it was simply doable), it would have been done upon launch.

In my eyes its 100% unlikely.

As meaghan and yvmuell have said, I don’t think either that it will become directly available. However, I strongly assume it can be replaced (if necessary) by Cordon in France (Fairphone’s repair contractor) through a support ticket. There is no repair price list for the FP6 yet, but you can see how much it (the midframe replacement) cost – if not covered by warranty – for the FP :five: here: https://support.fairphone.com/hc/en-us/articles/17750098804370-Fairphone-5-Repair-Price-list-and-FAQ-Cordon-Repair-Center
