Mysterious 'plug crossed out' icon

Hello. I have been trying to charge my Fairphone 4, unsuccessfully. When I try to turn it on, I briefly see an icon with a plug crossed out and an empty battery. While I assume this means the charging port is not working, I can’t find any mention of it in support pages.

Has anyone else experienced this, and have I done the right thing by ordering a new charging port?

Hello,
I have no experience with this problem myself. The symbol indicates that it is not loading properly.
Before replacing the charging port, you should try cleaning it and trying a different cable and power adapter.
